You can perform common tasks in CRM using the keyboard. Shortcuts do not work on all screens; they work only on the screen specified below. On Mac, use the ⌘ key; on Windows and Linux, use the Ctrl key; in this article, both are referred to as ⌘/Ctrl.

  • InboxUse shortcuts on the conversation screen
  • Pre-written ResponsesManage the responses you’ll add via shortcuts
  • Team ChatChat with your teammates

Call Screen

Works when a conversation is open and the cursor is not in a text field:

  • S → Changes the chat status. For chats from the live chat on your website, it clicks the Close button and displays the "Close Chat" confirmation; if the chat is already closed, it clicks the Reopen button. For other chats (email, WhatsApp, and other channels), it opens the status menu.
  • T → Opens the tag drawer; you can add or remove tags from the conversation.

When typing in the reply box, S and T must be typed out as text; the shortcuts do not work. First, click outside the reply box. These two shortcuts work for users who have permission to update conversations.

Reply box

  • ⌘/Ctrl + Enter → Sends the reply; if you are in note mode, it adds the note. It does not work if the box is empty and there is no attachment.
  • Enter or Shift+Enter → Starts a new line; does not send the message.
  • ⌘/Ctrl + K → Opens the "Ready-Made Responses" drawer. The response you select is added to the text box, with the variables filled in using the conversation's details.
  • ⌘/Ctrl + / → Opens the Help Center articles drawer. The article you select is added as a link in the reply.

⌘/Ctrl + K and ⌘/Ctrl + / also work while typing in the response box; you do not need to move the cursor out of the box.

Creating New Conversations and Editing Messages

  • ⌘/Ctrl + Enter (New conversation) → Click the "Create" button while in the message field. Quick reply and article shortcuts also work on this page.
  • ⌘/Ctrl+Enter (Edit reply or note) → Saves the change when editing a sent reply or note.
  • Esc → Closes the open window, the right-side drawer, or the drop-down menu.
  • ↑ / ↓ and Enter → Navigates between options in the search window and drop-down lists, and opens the selected one.
  • Enter (Search in Calls) → Searches instantly in the search bar at the top of the call list.
  • Esc (Search in Conversations) → Closes the search bar and clears the search.

There is no keyboard shortcut to open the search window in the CRM panel; use the Search box at the top of the section panel to start a search. In your public Help Center, ⌘/Ctrl+K opens the visitor’s search box.

Team Chat

  • Enter → Sends the message.
  • Shift + Enter → Starts a new line.
  • ↑ → Opens your last message for editing when the message box is empty.
  • Esc → Cancels editing or replying to a message.
  • ↑ / ↓, Enter, or Tab → Use @ to browse and select a teammate’s name from the suggestions; Esc closes the suggestion list.

Other Screens

  • ⌘/Ctrl+Enter (Customer note) → Adds the note to the customer profile and the note field in the sidebar of the conversation; Enter starts a new line.
  • Enter (Phone) → Initiates a call from the number field on the keypad.
  • Enter or Boşluk (Sales Tracking) → Opens the opportunity card when you hover over it with the keyboard.
  • ← / → and Home (Column separator) → When you hover over the separator between columns on the conversation screen with Tab, you can adjust the width; Home returns to the default width. Dragging Esc cancels the operation.
  • ⌘/Ctrl + + / ⌘/Ctrl + - and Home (Flow Editor) → Zooms in, zooms out, and returns to the starting point while editing a flow under BLE AI › Automation › Flows.

When a step is selected in the flow editor, pressing the Delete or Backspace key deletes that step and the subsequent steps linked to it.
