A webhook is a notification automatically sent to a specified address when an event occurs in your system (for example, when an invoice is paid). This way, your application is immediately notified of events; it doesn’t need to constantly check for them.

In short: something happens, we notify you at your address, and the rest is handled automatically.

What is it used for?

  • When an invoice is paid, an entry is automatically posted to your accounting system.
  • Send a welcome email when a new member joins.
  • Notify your team immediately when a support request is opened.
  • Keep your CRM up to date when your subscription changes.

How to install?

  1. Add your endpoint — On the Developer > Webhooks page, click "Add Endpoint."
  2. Enter your address — Enter your own https address where notifications will be sent.
  3. Select events — Check the events you want to receive; you can change your selection at any time.
  4. Keep your signature secret safe — Save the signature secret provided upon creation in a secure location.

The signature key is displayed only once at the time of creation. Copy it before leaving the page; it cannot be viewed again later.

Secure and reliable

  • Every notification is signed; you can verify that it comes from Blesyum.
  • If a notification cannot be delivered, the system will automatically retry at increasing intervals.
  • An address that consistently generates errors is automatically blocked for security reasons; you can re-enable it once the issue is resolved.

To test it without waiting for an actual event, you can use the "Test Send" button on the endpoint details screen.
